Jenny Vernon- Board Member
Jenny has over 40 years of experience in social housing, including as a tenant and an employee of local authorities and housing associations. 
She later worked as a consultant, specialising in ensuring tenants’ voices are heard, especially in the areas of service improvement and good governance.
In addition, Jenny has served on several housing boards, including roles as Board Member, Chair of Audit & Risk, Vice Chair, and Chair. She was also the Lead Independent Community Advisor for TPAS.
Advocating for tenant involvement in decision-making and service improvement is deeply embedded in her approach, as is her commitment to effective organisational governance.
Currently, Jenny volunteers in business development for a community charity and serves as a VCSE Alliance Ambassador, collaborating with Integrated Care Boards to support the VCSE sector in delivering community-based services to help prevent ill health.
