Wedmore, Somerset

As well as delivering our own schemes in rural locations, we also work with house builders and developers to provide affordable housing through Section 106 planning gain (restrictions).

Alongside the private sale homes Strongvox provided a mix of 14 affordable homes, including 8 affordable rent and 6 shared ownership at Wedmore Grange in the village of Wedmore.

As this was a Section 106 planning gain site, we weren’t involved with the early discussions of the site layout and planning stages, but Sedgemoor District Council and Strongox worked hard to provide the much needed homes for the village. We have worked with Sedgemoor to provide the homes to local people, working within the frame work of local lettings in the Section 106.
