Work is progressing well on our six affordable homes at Morchard Bishop. Westhaven Homes are building the properties to a very high standard, incorporating solar PV and batteries, EV chargers and Air Source Heat Pumps, as well as swift boxes and bee bricks to encourage biodiversity. Proposed to be EPC A, the homes are designed to be affordable to run as well as affordable to rent or buy.
All homes are already watertight with first fix plumbing and electrical work well underway.
Marketing of the two shared ownership properties is due to commence shortly and the 4 affordable rents will be advertised through Devon Home Choice later this year. It is anticipated that the homes will be ready for handover in October/November 2025.
