At Willow Tree Housing Partnership we are committed to providing safe and decent homes. As part of required legal compliance checks, we will carry out a landlord gas safety check on your home annually to make sure that it is safe. We use MOT style checks that can be carried out 2 months before annual expiry.
We also carry out these important safety checks whenever one of our homes becomes empty, and when a mutual exchange takes place, regardless of when the previous check was completed.
All properties with a gas supply have carbon monoxide detectors installed. These detectors are tested annually during the check. These can also be tested by pressing the button on the detector. If these detectors do not sound please Contact Us.
It is important that you allow us access to carry out these checks as we have a legal obligation to do so.
If you think you can smell gas, suspect you may be suffering from the effects of carbon monoxide or if your carbon monoxide alarm is activated you need to call The National Grid on 0800 111 999 immediately.
