South Western Housing Society and Tamar Housing Society merged on 31st March 2023.
In 2020 two local based organisations, South Western Housing and Tamar Housing, started working together in partnership, as two like-minded organisations looking to harness collective expertise, knowledge and passion for social housing, in order to benefit existing and future tenants. The merger between the organisations means that there is capability to increase the ability to provide new homes and invest in existing homes.
CEO, Donna Johnson says “As we enter a new phase of our evolution, our focus is clear, to deliver more and for the benefit of the people that we provide services to both now and in the future.
The new organisational objectives have been set by the Board following wide discussion and debate to determine what Willow Tree Housing Partnership can offer to the people identified by its charitable rules, and after reviewing feedback from colleagues across the organisation and the results of feedback from tenant satisfaction surveys.
It is against these goals that WTHP will manage its risks, seek to fund its 30 year business plan and measure its success over the next four years:
Following the review of our 2026-2030 Corporate Strategy, our vision has been updated to Listen & Deliver. Our priorities for the next four years will centred around five key areas:
We will put people at the heart of everything we do |
We will deliver, maintain and future-proof good quality homes |
We will build financial strength, operational efficiency and sustainable growth |
We will be an organisation where people thrive, feel valued and deliver excellence |
We will use information to improve decisions, services and outcomes |
